“What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it.” (Author Unknown)

Being inspired is to surrender one’s mind to a new force, granting one the energy to show strength and courage for achievement.  Inspiration can’t be brought or proposed, one must be loyal to the commitment of allowing the process to just happen.  You cannot just sit and wait for inspiration, you must search and find it.  It is a process that only one open and hungry for this force will it be deemed adequate.   As stated by Robert Grudin:

“Inspiration tends to visit people who renew contact with the major challenges of some ongoing project every day and who set no time limit on their involvement.   Such people can accept the failure of a day’s effort or a weeks enterprise, confident at once that the past has brought better results and that the future will offer new opportunities.  Their confidence in turn gives them that calm attention which is open to new ideas.  They belong to their work ,and it rewards their commitment with un-expected discovery.”

Inspiration can change from day to day, we can be inspired or even inspire others with our actions.  Think about what it means to be a role model, it truly doesn’t take much to be an inspiration.  People whom seek motivation to do things that they have a passion for, find it easy to be motivated on a daily basis.  I myself are one of those people who appreciate people of great character and perseverance.  I think it is important for one to find value within misfortune and others achievement.  For example looking at the way your friends and family live their lives on a daily basis can be an inspiration for you to want to do more.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. (Nelson Mandela)

When you are loyal to your commitment to do more, you learn discipline and this is something you can’t design.  Being able to keep your inspiration alive grants a mental understanding that you can do more than you set out to do.  Thoughts of brilliance paves the way to express more, when we have great thoughts and ideas, they should be shared with the world.  People will either appreciate them, or ignore them, as I stated before success should be fulfilled by your own measures,  and others shouldn’t be allowed to dictate what you want to express.  Go out and commit to your new found inspiration; don’t let it diminish within your unused experiences, keep it refreshed with optimistic hope that you can find inspiration within the most common things amongst your life.
