Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. (Leo Tolstoy)

I have always believed that change begins with thyself.  In order for others to understand what change is, we must take an active role in leading by example.  I have transformed my life around, in order to live a life that is more pleasing.  We have all did things, where we may not have made the best decisions, but that’s life.  It’s so okay, because if you are reading this, then you are surely trying to change at your own pace.  It really bothers me, when people say that people don’t change.  I mean if I hadn’t changed, haven’t seen others change, then maybe I would believe this to be true.

I personally feel it is very interesting to witness change for the better, whether it is your change or someone else’s.  It is rather inspiring to know that, good things can blossom from a situation, that once seemed to be doomed.   Change doesn’t have to be drastic, it can be subtle like the wind, it can flow seamlessly slow like molasses.  In every honest attempt, there is an honest result, the result is always valuable.  Consider yourself the owner of a valuable antique item store, and every lesson that is from your past is an antique of your own determined price.  The most important lessons or antiques, are the ones learned and not overlooked.

People don’t resist change, they resist being changed.  (Peter Scholtes)

If you don’t believe you can change, then you simply will not.  Change is everyday, change is growth beyond measure, change is learning better, change is knowing better, change is motivation to do better, and change is a constant pattern of life.  Remember, when you change you don’t give away the old you, apart of your past will always exist in your present life, it is up to you to choose what you want to keep and what you want to discard for the better.  So I ask why not allow it, or believe it possible?
