One’s very own perception of self is a reflection that can sometimes be misinterpreted.  We are not always in tune with or  aware of these messages that we showcase to the world, especially when our actions speak louder than words.  Allowing anyone/anything to continue to be a crutch in your life can conclude as weak representation of self.  When you can’t take a stand for yourself, vulnerabilities become a sought out method of weakness; which then makes it easy for individuals to treat you as they please.  By granting no individual advocacy, how can you possibly expect others to perceive you as the person you want to represent?

Confidence is key, if you present yourself in such a way that reflects total understanding/respect of your identity, then others will have no control over your perception.  Share what you want to be a part of your picture presentation and keep what makes you a mystery to yourself.  Consider a the idea that what makes a book interesting,  is probably the mystery in the reading.   You won’t truly know what’s inside until you decide to take the journey of discovering it’s contents.  Your decision to continue reading until the very end, is a result of your interpretation of the developing story.  If you never gained an interest of what is to be concluded at the end,  then you most likely were not enticed by what was shared.

Family and Friends!

In life there are things one can tolerate and things that we will and should not allow ourselves to deal with.  When you come to realize that the truly most important things in life are family and friends, you will find your way to peace and happiness.

This struggle or thing that we call life can be quite a treacherous journey and that’s where friends and family come in to save the day.  We think that we can handle it all and are invincible at times, but in actuality we are just vulnerable human beings.

In order to be helped one needs to be understood, in order to understood one must be capable of relating. We all walk similar paths in life and come from similar backgrounds.  If one truly cares for the people he/she is surrounded by, that individual will find a way to relate and lend a shoulder to help.  Those who were there for you before, will be there for you tomorrow.

“You never understand a person, until you consider things from his/her point of view.

Either you dwell in the past, or move on to the next chapter in your life.  Yesterday can be undone, with a new approach for conquering today.  Worrying about things that have already taken place, is like holding yourself hostage.   That usually results in compensation of no reward, unless you consider guilt to be one.  We tend to hold ourselves to standards that we develop through out our journey of learning.  These standards should be consistent of options, we must give ourselves a break from time to time.

I am one who firmly stands behind the ideal of self-expression and continual acceptance of one’s ways.  I like living on the edge at times, it makes me feel liberated and free.  From the time we attend our 1st day of grade school things become structured and the societal way of living becomes more of a pressuring tactic to live  a so-called normal life.  Everyday you awake to an opportunity for you to break free from what you didn’t totally agree with yesterday, but chose to accept, as it seemed to be the right decision.  Live as a free bird and allow your new day to be a fresh start for change.

You can do anything!

“Instead of giving myself reasons why I can’t, I give myself reasons why I can.” ~Unknown~

It’s time to Excuse yourself from making excuses.  You can defy all odds, if you utilize the tools of life that have brought you this far, success is right across the river.   Everything intended to happen, will eventually take its place in your world.  Through our weaker moments in life, we must promise ourselves that things will get better.  We must deal with things as they happen, confront our fears of change and allow ourselves to accept what happens to be okay.

Dwelling on things once lost, only grants sorrow and heartache.  It is okay to reminisce the past, but living in the past is just as damaging as not dealing with the present.  Considering that you have one life to live, why not try new ways of living; healthier eating, traveling for the soul, learning for personal growth e.t.c.  We can always use a little improvement, the mind never stops working, so why should you?

“Many of life’s failures are men who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”Thomas Edison
You are closer to achieving your goals than you think, If you can dream it, then you can most certainly achieve it.  Spending time on your craft, is the best investment in your future.  At any given moment outcomes may alter, but your will must be in tact.
Your commitment towards achieving excellence requires all of your efforts.
Look at your future as a glass jar full of options, where one option doesn’t work, the other becomes feasible.  Focus on what’s going on now, in order to create a platform that will balance out your future.  Start everyday with an optimistic outlook,  rest assure in your committed faith of better days, and options.  If you aren’t successful, keep trying until you get what you want, starting over is never a bad thing.  It’s actually a very intelligent thing to do, as it proves that you are determined, faithful, worthy, and willing to achieve greater opportunities.
“The best thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time.”Abraham Lincoln

What’s up with the wait?

I constantly find myself trying to figure out what it is that I ultimately want t do with my life, as the time just seems to pass on by!!  My biggest road block is too many options, which makes it hard for me to zone in on the best choice.  So I have decided to forget about the best choice,  and I began utilizing time by investing in various projects as a solution.   I have found this to be a great aid in helping me figure out what works and what doesn’t, as long as I  don’t spread myself too thin.

You don’t know what you are capable of doing, until you actually attempt to do something.  Put your thoughts into action, and things will fall in place.  You don’t need a master plan, you can build and develop better ideas as you go along.

Trying is where the will lies, you can do a little everyday.  You will be surprised at the motivation that can be gained from knowing you have taken initiative to start a long’ly delayed project.  Metaphorically speaking, it is quite amazing that you can plant small seed and a giant tree can grow from this.  The same concept applies to you taking a small idea and turning it into something functionally amazing.

Freely removed from yesterday, my senses are heightened, my vision is clearer, this couldn’t possibly be a better time for change.  This is the year to set goals and accomplish all that you desire.

Consider your goals a career, when you faulter at living up to your responsibilities, then you fail at living.  A major part of living is to enjoy life, one’s success at this can be easily measured by the level of happiness.  No one is always happy, but people who enjoy life strive for daily happiness.

If you want more, go get more.  If you want change, then become change.  If you want Knowledge, attain it.  You are the only one holding yourself back from reaching the next level in your life.  We are all complex beings, with complex experiences, that we can utilize to our advantage, in order to gain a lead on the competition.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

What you are and who you will amount to be are things that just  happen with time.  I feel that sometimes we spend too much time focusing on what we want our future to be like, instead our emphasis should be on the plan that will get us to where we need to be.  But I am beginning to conclude that instead I am learning to go along with the flow.  If it were meant to be then it will happen and it most likely won’t be when I want it, but it will come when I need it.

Seek courage in knowing that you can accomplish what you want, by investing time in nurturing/cultivating what lies within us.  Build upon what you know and want to know.  There is no walk through, step by step guide of your life, you are writing a  rough draft  that will always require editing to every new chapter in your life.  There is no such thing as knowing it all, but with our willing minds we should strive to know it all.  This world has many wonders and unsolved mysteries, having your hand in the pot of every knowledgable subject is ultimately a great way to relate and establish great connections with others.

Living by example is a way of choice.  I am committed to leading by way of my own actions, I represent a voice to be heard and a passion for happiness, not be reckoned with.  I strongly believe in respect, as we are all representations of unique characteristics, it is best that we find common ground amongst one another before sorting out differences.

I believe respect should be something that is granted until proven not worthy.  I would only want to be respected by all, but I understand that you cannot satisfy everyone.  It is not fair to judge one by the appearance, but it is fine to judge one based on actions, as actions speak louder than words.  I say if you want to be seen as you are, then come as yourself and not as who you aspire to be.

So as of lately, I have been encountering change in ways that are very abrupt and relentless to whatever I am dealing with at that particular moment.  While encountering change in the past, I spent a lot of time trying things that didn’t work for me.  So I have decided to embark on a very interesting  journey called self-evaluation.  My results have redirected me on a journey of self-fulfillment and absolutely nothing can stop me.  I am on the road to an everlasting/non-momentary feeling of wholeness, I want to be the ultimate me.

Teaching myself how to be a friend again has been a long struggle of mine.  Due to the aftermath of my life as it were before, I was catapulted into becoming this person that couldn’t see past what I was going through and it practically made me shutdown.  The time spent gathering my thoughts and attempting to understand what was happening and how to move forward swiftly became to complicated to even deal with.  I have come to the conclusion that I am sabotaging myself in order to protect myself.  I am reluctant to developing friendships, or even putting in work to keep the ones that I have, because I didn’t want to deal with the possibility of losing someone else close to me.  I have decided to not worry and try my best to be happy and that is all I can do.

I am easily impressed by those who have overcome adversity and are determined to make this world a better place.  We all have a role to play and in these roles we should all strive to make things loveable.  Everything I have done, and been through has made me who I am.  It must be comprehended that the world must accept you as you are and not as whom they say you should be.  If you don’t believe in yourself, then how can you convince someone else to see you for what you stand for?  Take all experiences as they are, if it was intended to be, it will be.
